2010 Quilt Show - Planning is Underway

Do you feel like you just folded up your quilts from our October 2008 show? Well the time has come to start creating new works for our October 2010 show. We need quilts and people to get the next show ready!!

We are looking for some fun loving souls to join us on the planning committee. We are meeting every-other month in 2009, and once a month in 2010. Our meetings are held at Lakeshore Sewing, Wyoming, 1011 Gezon Parkway SW, by Clyde Park, in their classroom. Meetings are 6-8pm. We may be moving to 6:30pm. Many of our chairpersons from the last show are returning, but we have openings too! Examples are the Quilt Show Game, Volunteer Recruitment, and more. With a job like Volunteer Recruitment, that is a great job for a couple of friends to take on together. No one person is expected to do a job. The idea is to select a lead person for the committee, and as a group you go forth, plan, and execute! Planning a quilt show is like eating an elephant – take one bite at a time, stay on task, and before you know it we have a fabulous event!
Our meeting dates for 2009 are, (always the second Wednesday of the odd month) May 13, July 10, September 9, November 11.

2010 Main Raffle Quilt

The main raffle quilt for 2010 is being made by the current WMQG Board Members.  We are featuring our gorgeous Guild fabric that was designed for us and produced by Hoffman Batiks.  We have one block already turned in and they are due by the September Guild meeting.
