We are proud to help out both of these awesome charities with the proceeds from this show.
Thanks to all our attendees!

A special event at the show was the donation of our
30th Anniversary quilt to the Museum. This is our
Guild President presenting the quilt with our Guild
liaison and the Museum representative.

Visitors came from all over the world and especially West Michigan

Cookbooks were for sale and did quite well. Thanks to the 30th Anniversary Cookbook Committee and members who donated recipes!! Yummy treats are coming from this sale to be sure!

The Sew You Want to be a Quilter game was a HUGE success with lots of prizes given out.

The Small Quilt Auction did very well. With 40 quilts donated, we raised nearly $1900 for our charities. Great job!!

Quilt Show Photo CD available
Did you forget to bring your camera to Quilts on the Grand 2008? Your pictures didn’t turn out? Did you miss the show altogether? (heaven forbid!) Well, not to worry. You can remember each and every quilt in the show by purchasing a photo CD of the 2008 show for only $10. The photo CD includes cropped hi-resolution digital images of each and every quilt in the 2008 show, including all the raffle quilts and the small quilt auction quilts, and a list of the winners for each category. Pop it into your computer and use your file manager to browse through each image, or even play it as a slideshow. Make prints with your home printer.

Photo CD’s will be available at the next Guild meeting, but you must contact Jan Lewis (click on her name to send an email or call her at 248-0659) to pre-order a copy, so she knows how many copies to make. If you pre-reserved a copy on your show entry form, let her know. If you would like to have your copy mailed to you, there is an additional $2 charge to cover the cost of the padded envelope and postage. Contact Jan to make mailing arrangements.
