We are so thankful to all of you who have continued to make neonatal quilts and turn them in to the drop-off points around town. We are also pleased that we have had enough on hand to meet the needs when the social workers let us know that they are running low. I think that we have delivered over 500 since the beginning of  2021. The committee also wants you to know that if you are planning to come to the July meeting and picnic, we will be there to take in more quilts. We will also have some kits for you to pick up,Read More →

Good news! Santa Claus Girls is asking us again for baby dolls or stuffies with a doll sized quilt to be distributed on a weekend in December. They’re planning on a limited operation this season because of Covid and lack of long term work/storage space. We will be collecting your quilts and baby dolls or stuffed animals( boys enjoy these, too) at the November meeting. I will need several folks willing to store these for a couple weeks (just leave in your car) until delivery to their venue (not yet announced) Dec 9 or 10. But these details will be addressed by the September meeting,Read More →

She is located in Grandville so, those of us living on the south side of Grand Rapids, now have a convenient drop-off location! Contact Tara via text at 978-884-1933 to get her address. Spectrum hospice office staff are all still working from home but the nurses, caregivers, chaplains, etc. are still seeing patients.  They are still in need of the items we have provided before.  They are only doing a drop-off once a month in the parking lot of their building, the Fuller campus. The next turn in, weather permitting, is March 18th, 2021. If any of you have anything you would like to donate or are in need of labels, please feel free to contact Karen Lawrence.  She will gladly pick up your items before the turn-in dates or mail you labels.  If you prefer to dropRead More →
