Elita Sharpe with Sew Kind of Wonderful Lecture

May 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Elita Sharpe is an international quilter, educator, lecturer, and retreat organizer who loves tinkering with machines. Relocating to southern Indiana, just outside of Cincinnati, after many years of living in Geneva, Switzerland, she brings her custom quilting talents, along with mechanical skills for longarm and DSM repair. An Island Batik Ambassador for 2023, she is the new President of the Lawrenceburg Modern Quilt Guild, a certified APQS longarm service technician and a certified instructor of the Sew Kind of Wonderful Quick Curve Piecing method.  Her love of teaching and her gentle manner gives her students the confidence and encouragement to stretch their skills as they try new techniques. In this lecture, Elita will talk about the specifics that make these rulers so helpful and give a trunk show of some of the designs that can be made.
