WMQG Library

Don't see what you are looking for?  If you are looking for a special book, contact Karen Giles for a specific title or a complete list of books in our library.  We have over 1000 books to choose from.  Books are available for free loan to members only.  The loan period is two months - from meeting to meeting - and there is afine for late returns.  Borrowing requires presentation of your Guild membership card.

Volunteer opportunities - We are looking for library volunteers for every meeting. It’s a great way to get your hands on the new books before  they go back out on the table. No previous experience is needed!

As a member of the guild you can check out 5 books and keep them until the next meeting (2 months).  But if you forget to bring them back it is a $1.00 fine per book per meeting missed!  Or maybe you would like to work off your fine by helping with the library.  Please be sure to sign up to volunteer for the library.  Please feel free to email me if you have a suggestion for a book you would like to see added to the library.   The magazine table is overflowing, please take home as many as you would like!!

We Are Going Green!

Tired of looking at those stacks of magazines using up precious fabric space on your shelves? Oh Boy, do I have a solution for you!

We are going to pilot a magazine exchange program. I want to keep it very simple. I will have a table set up close to the Library where you can drop off your magazines and browse through the magazines already collected. Won¹t this be a wonderful way to share all those fun quilting magazines and clean up some space in your studio.

I think our Magazine table may be getting low. Bring in your quilting magazine issues that you are done with to share with your quilting comrades!  Be sure to check out the table to see if there are any magazines you’d like to take home. Take as many as you
would like, keep them, return them it is up to you. This is a great way to recycle your old magazines that are just sitting around cluttering up your sewing studio!
The West Michigan Quilters' Guild meets bi-monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
in September, November, January, March, May and July.
All meetings and  workshops are held at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Byron Center Avenue SW, Wyoming, Michigan.
